Don't Gerrymander the Latine Vote

The 4 redistricting commissioners have each published their proposed Congressional district maps. All of them promised to maintain or enhance the majority-BIPOC nature of the 9th congressional district. Only one (Walkinshaw) kept his word. So it is critical that they hear from us. Fortunately there is a fast and simple way to give feedback online. Instructions (including talking points) are here. General Membership Meeting on Tuesday

The next General Membership Meeting is packed: Anti-War Caucus is bringing forward a Puma Boycott, an update on the Tax the Rich town hall, Redistricting updates from electoral committee, wildcat strike update from carpenters. After that, we'll have a rally as we enter the final month before election day: key opportunities to volunteer and updates on policies they're championing.
