Folks, here's what A.G. told MSNBC's Joy Reid about redistricting:
"Now, [Democrats are] in better shape than we were [in 2011]. But we still have problems, especially in states like Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida . Those are the four states that worry me the most."
Me too, John! In fact, the maps proposed by Republicans in Georgia and Texas show that they are intent on doubling down on their 2011 gerrymandering! We still have time to stop them, but not much. Pitch in to prevent Republicans all over the country from manipulating the maps for the next decade >>

The A.G. also made it clear that democracy itself is on the line :
"Republicans have made themselves quite comfortable with the notion that they will be a minority party that exercises majority power . They are, in essence, trying to create a political apartheid system where they will get fewer votes at every level and still have greater amounts of power."
It's true -- but it's up to us whether we accept it or not. We have two choices at this moment: to let the GOP get away with destroying the Democratic ideals this country was founded on -- or to fight back tooth and nail . And the more supporters we have, the harder we can fight. So friend, will you join in before it's too late?
