Team, it’s no accident that the Senate is called Mitch McConnell’s “legislative graveyard.”

Not much of anything Congress is working on has even had a vote in the Senate, thanks to him. Here’s just a snippet of the legislative priorities McConnell has blocked:

Reinforcing the Affordable Care Act, Lowering Prescription Drug Costs, Bolstering Election Security Measures, Reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act, Protecting LGBTQ Americans from Discrimination, Making Pay Equity the Law of the Land, Strengthening Ethics Rules, Enforcing Net Neutrality

When you see it all together like that, it’s a punch to the stomach. Team, the obstruction needs to end. We can’t let important bills keep piling up in Mitch’s graveyard.

To put it simply, Mitch McConnell isn’t putting the people of Kentucky first. He’s putting special interests and his wealthy, well-connected friends ahead of the progress we need.

The only way to break this impasse in the Senate is to make sure this is Mitch’s last term in Congress. Chip in now to help defend our democracy and build a Washington that works for us again.

Thank you,
Team McGrath
