Andy Beshear is officially running for re-election!

The last eighteen months have been really challenging. And they could have been even more challenging -- without the steady, responsible leadership of Andy Beshear.

When the pandemic hit, Andy led a comprehensive response to COVID-19 to protect Kentuckians, essential workers, and small businesses. He followed an ambitious agenda and made progress to help rebuild the economy for all Kentuckians. Now, as we navigate the rise in the Delta variant, Andy is staying laser-focused on keeping communities safe.

There aren't enough people in politics who are willing to do the right thing, even when it's tough or the critics are especially loud. Kentucky has been fortunate to have Andy's steadfast leadership at the helm.

Andy was born in Kentucky, educated here in our amazing public schools, and chose to raise his family here. Fighting for our Commonwealth is personal to him. Public service has been the cornerstone of his life, but the road to re-election is going to be tough. He won in 2019 by one of the smallest margins in the country, so it will take all of us coming together to keep decency in the governor's office. We're counting on this team to have his back every step of the way.
