We only have 31 days left to beat a Trump loyalist in Virginia.
In just one month, voters in Virginia will head to the polls to cast their ballots in the only major statewide race this year, and friend, the Attorney General candidates could not be more different:
Democratic AG Mark Herring has worked tirelessly to defend Virginians’ right to vote and protect Virginia from gun violence.
His opponent, Jason Miyares, has an abysmal voting record in the Virginia House of Delegates, where he’s actively fought against policies that would achieve progress in our justice system and our democracy.
The stakes are incredibly high, and recent polling shows that Miyares is within striking distance. With so little time left before election day, we need to make one last push to get AG Herring over the finish line.
AG Herring is a progressive champion for our communities. He’s successfully defended the state’s COVID safety protocols in court over a dozen times, and worked to prevent evictions for struggling Virginians during the pandemic.
He’s taken on the NRA and the gun lobby, and during the Trump administration, he sued the EPA to protect the Chesapeake Bay and prevent the administration from rolling back environmental regulations. AG Herring is a true Lawyer for the People.
We need AGs like Mark Herring in office, and the fight starts this month by making sure Dems win big in the Virginia AG race.
