From the bottom of my heart, I am just so grateful to everyone on this team.
We not only reached our goal for the third quarter, but we exceeded it! We’re still working to add up and confirm the final number, but we should all be so proud of what we accomplished as a team.
When we report our number, it is going to be an unmistakable message that Democrats across the country are fired up to turn North Carolina blue. We can prove that we have the resources and depth of support necessary to go toe-to-toe with any of our Republican opponents.
My mom, Lou Beasley, always told me that with hard work and faith we could accomplish anything. Together, we are proving that, and when we win, we will open the doors of opportunity for so many of our families who have been ignored or forgotten for too long.
I know there are many days that Washington seems so broken, and frankly, I share your frustration. But if we keep the faith and dig deep, we can win this race, and when we do, we can win meaningful, progressive change — on voting rights, reproductive justice, a $15 minimum wage, climate change and more.
That’s really what is at stake in 2022, and North Carolina has a critical role to play in these fights. Everything you are doing to support our campaign is putting us one step closer to victory.
