Hi Friend - This summer, we launched our Undeniable en la LUCHA campaign to apply pressure to Arizona Senators Sinema and Kelly demanding they support a pathway to citizenship.
Volunteers have been knocking doors in the heat and phone banking every Wednesday to activate AZ voters. Throughout this campaign, I’ve gotten to meet and hear the stories of so many passionate leaders and what brings them to the fight for our communities. I’d like to share one with you.
Jordi is 20 years old, undocumented, and unafraid. He started knocking doors with our campaign because he knows that a pathway to citizenship would provide permanent protections for him and his family, access to higher education, and the opportunity to start a career he is passionate about.
People who care about Jordi and our immigrant communities got these AZ Senators elected on the promise that they would fight for citizenship for millions. Now, we need to hold them accountable. Dems in congress can and must deliver citizenship for our communities, and that’s why making sure Senators Simena and Kelly hear from their constituents like Jordi is so important.
