Golden Valley, Minnesota — The City Council passed an ordinance to prohibit the sale of all flavored tobacco products, prohibit the sale of tobacco at pharmacies, enact a Tobacco 21 policy, cap the amount of tobacco licenses issued by the city at eight, and increase the minimum price for certain tobacco products from $2 to $3.

San Diego County, California — The Board of Supervisors voted to impose a 1-year ban on the sale of all e-cigarettes within unincorporated areas of the county and banned the sale of flavored tobacco products. Tobacco used in hookahs are exempt from the policy.
