NH FEDERATION OF REPUBLICAN WOMEN
NH YOUNG REPUBLICANS
NH FEDERATION OF COLLEGE REPUBLICANS

FRIEND,

Last night, the Democrat agenda in D.C. completely crumbled and our
feckless Representatives and Senators did nothing while their party
failed to get anything done.

This is what we can expect from Democrat government: they waste
everyone’s time and fail to implement their unpopular agenda.

While we can be relieved the Democrats’ massive $3.5 trillion
boondoggle is delayed for now, we must remain ever vigilant. Please
continue to call and email Chris Pappas, Ann Kuster, Maggie Hassan,
and Jeanne Shaheen to showcase your opposition to this massive
spending package. While we can be grateful for Democrats like Joe
Manchin and Krysten Sinema for representing their states well, we
should be utterly disappointed in the New Hampshire Democrats who were
seemingly willing to go along with such a massive and permanent
transformation of government.

Closer to home here in New Hampshire, we’ve seen angry and loud
crowds distort and obstruct our Republican messaging and governance.
Let us not forget that President Trump oversaw the successful creation
and deployment of our COVID-19 vaccines through Operation Warp Speed.
Republicans of all stripes vehemently oppose vaccine mandates and we
are fighting in unison against the Federal government and the
Democrats’ overreach. Our Attorney General has joined a multi-state
lawsuit against Joe Biden’s mandate and our Governor and legislative
leadership has been united in opposition against forced
vaccinations.

Let us praise the work of Republican leadership that produced
successful and effective vaccines against COVID-19 - Democrat
misinformation regarding the efficacy of the vaccine should not deter
us. I chose to get the vaccine and I encourage all to as well and we
recognize the right of everyone to make the decision that is best for
them and their families.

Today also marks the reduction of New Hampshire’s rooms and meals
tax that was made possible through our Republican budget. Thanks to
our Republican majorities in the House and Senate and Governor Chris
Sununu’s leadership, we passed a budget that includes tax cuts for
everyone!

We have one week to go until our big Amos Tuck Dinner with rising star
U.S. Senator Tim Scott - IF YOU HAVEN’T GOTTEN YOUR TICKETS YET, GET
THEM TONIGHT AT $100 BEFORE THEY INCREASE TO $125 AT MIDNIGHT.

YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS OUT.

Thanks to the state budget we recently passed, Laconia taxpayers will
save more than $1.25 million under the Statewide Property Tax.
That’s direct relief for taxpayers, but the budget also helps
property taxpayers in other ways by sharing funds with cities and
towns.

For instance, we’ve increased revenue sharing under the Meals and
Rooms Tax to 30 percent. That will mean more than $1.1 million going
directly to Laconia in each of the next two years, helping to lower
taxes. In addition, the two-year budget includes more than $23 million
in Adequate Education Grants for Laconia schools.

I’m happy that our state budget is great news for hard working
Laconia families.
