From all of us at the Working Families Party, we want to say thank you John. For months, we’ve organized outside of offices, executed big ad buys, flooded phone lines, and took to social media to make one message clear:

Democrats in Congress need to deliver on the FULL agenda of jobs, care, and climate that they promised to voters on the campaign trail.

Last night, WFP champions in Congress successfully held the line against corporate Democrats who were pushing to pass an infrastructure bill that did not include our progressive priorities. Thanks to you, they heard our message and the vote was delayed. Every phone call, social media post, protest, and grassroots contribution truly made a difference.

But corporate Democrats and their funders aren’t giving up. They’re still trying to obstruct any progress for working people while furthering the interests of corporations and the ultrawealthy.

This week, we’re seeing once again why we can’t depend on corporate Democrats to care about working people. That is why we need to elect more WFP champions to Congress. Our progressive coalition in Congress is stronger than ever, but with your support, we can be unstoppable.
