With all the crises America faces, from Afghanistan to the invasion at our southern border, Nancy Pelosi and radical House Democrats passed the so-called “Women’s Health Protection Act” to codify Roe v. Wade and legalize the on-demand murder of preborn children across the country. I was proud to join Students for Life of America in fighting against this radical bill.
It’s heartbreaking to see so many Americans have bought into Planned Parenthood’s multi-million-dollar corporate abortion messaging scheme and believe the lie that killing children is good for women and that abortions can be justified. As a mom and someone who has counseled many women facing unexpected pregnancies, I know these are well-disguised lies.
|
Abortion stops one heart, and it leaves another broken.
Women who chose to kill their preborn children experience an 81% increased risk for mental health problems, a 35% increased risk for suicide, a 100% increased risk for alcoholism, and a 60% increased risk for future miscarriages. Despite lies from pro-abortion extremists saying, “shout your abortion,” the facts are clear: abortion is bad for women. I believe women deserve better than abortion, and I will keep working to create a culture of life in America.

It was great to meet with Bruce Talbot and discuss issues facing growers today, including drought, water storage and delivery, invasive species, and labor shortages. We discussed my Western Water Security Act, which would protect farmers’ private water rights from federal overreach.
Additionally, we discussed how catastrophic wildfires have impacted Colorado growers. My Active Forest Management, Community Protection, and Wildfire Prevention Act puts rural communities first by actively managing our forests to remove the nearly 6 billion standing dead trees and reduce fire hazards while improving environmental health and reducing the national debt.

I upheld my oath to defend the Constitution of the United States by solemnly introducing articles of impeachment against Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Joe Biden willfully abandoned his duty as President of the United States and violated his constitutional oath to ‘take care that the laws be faithfully executed’ by failing to ensure the national security of the United States and its citizens. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris handed over billions of dollars of American military equipment to the very scum of the earth that we spent $2 trillion fighting, abandoned American citizens as hostages to the Taliban, colluded with the Afghan President to lie to the American people, gave a list of Americans to hunt down to the Taliban, and exposed our Afghan allies, among many other impeachable actions. The Biden regime is not being held accountable. There have been no resignations, no firings, no indictments, no investigations, no congressional oversight, no outcry from the mainstream media, and no apologies—so I’m stepping up to hold Biden and Harris accountable by filing articles of impeachment for giving aid and comfort to America’s enemies and colluding with the Taliban.
Kamala is complicit in all of this. She can’t hide as the incompetent border czar, and she can’t hide from her moral and legal duty to remove Joe Biden via the 25th Amendment due to his clear inability to ‘discharge the powers and duties of his office.’ Biden is supposed to be the commander-in-chief, but he forgot the name of the Pentagon, the Department of Defense, and the Secretary of Defense. The 25th Amendment exists for situations of presidential incapacity. If this isn’t presidential incapacity, I don’t know what is. Kamala failed to do her duty, and now 13 American servicemembers are dead.

I joined Congressman Matt Rosendale and seven other Members of Congress in a letter calling out the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for beginning a 12-month review to relist the gray wolf under the Endangered Species Act, despite robust state-led efforts to manage the species and a finding in October of 2020 that federal listing was no longer appropriate due to a full recovery of the species. Radical enviros are attempting to reinstate the federal government’s one-size-fits-all micromanagement of our farmers, ranchers, and state and local officials. If relisted, farmers and ranchers will lose the ability to defend their livestock from predatory wolves that are troublesome and dangerous. I am working to stop this unscientific relisting and to defend farmers and ranchers with responsible conservation policy.

It was great to host the Colorado Automobile Dealers Association in D.C. These small businesses have been working to provide jobs across Colorado for years, and I am standing with them as they face challenges from the Biden regime, including, increased taxes, burdensome regulation, staggering inflation, and high unemployment.

Our men and women in uniform represent the best of us, and they deserve the best American has to offer—which is why I couldn’t vote for this year’s National Defense Authorization Act. This disastrous bill would require our daughters to be drafted into the military, use taxpayer dollars to fund abortion, free terrorists from military prison, institute red flag laws that trample on servicemembers’ Second Amendment rights, and create more woke indoctrination programs.
I love our servicemembers, and they deserve better than serving under a regime that has been taken over by radical Ivy League social justice warriors. I stand with our military members, which I why I could not vote for an NDAA that destroys the Constitution they swore an oath to protect.

Agriculture is the foundation of rural Colorado, and I am proud of the Colorado Leadership Agriculture Program for investing in the next generation of American farmers. I was inspired to meet with such impressive an impressive group of folks who is representing Colorado well and strengthening rural communities.
This meeting gave me great confidence that the Colorado agriculture community is in good hands for future generations.

I hosted the fourth edition of “Conversations with Your Congresswoman” and called thousands of constituents across Colorado’s Third Congressional District to answer your questions and listening to your concerns. We talked about my Active Forest Management, Wildfire Prevention, and Community Protection Act; the $320,000 my office has returned to over 700 constituents through casework; getting the San Luis Valley Weather Radar online; my work to reopen and improve I-70; the unconstitutional vaccine mandate; and so much more!
Stay tuned for the next Conversation with Your Congresswoman.

One of my other favorite parts of my job is getting the honor to nominate bright future leaders to the U.S. service academies. If you are a high school student, or if you know any high school students in Colorado’s Third Congressional District who are looking to be nominated for a service academy, pass the word along to apply for a nomination before the October 15 deadline.

Washington Examiner, Lauren Boebert and Students for Life President Kristan Hawkins: How the Women’s Health Protection Act Endangers Women The deceptively named Women’s Health Protection Act ignores women’s needs for opportunity, education, and access to advancement, selling us short by falsely asserting that all we need is more abortion. Women deserve better, and the next generation deserves our support and protection.
Vail Daily, Lauren Boebert is Delivering on her Promises In 2020, believers invested in an unknown, small-town, young woman, without any political experience who displayed a great deal of passion and enthusiasm for her country and state. Lauren Boebert promised to fight 24/7 for her constituents and our values and for the issues we face every day. She has not failed to deliver.
The Washington Times, Rep. Lauren Boebert leads new impeachment drive against ‘derelict’ Biden, Harris Rep. Lauren Boebert, Colorado Republican, introduced Friday impeachment resolutions against President Biden and Vice President Kamala D. Harris, citing the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan that saw U.S. forces leave behind billions of dollars in military weapons for the Taliban.
The Washington Times, Colorado Republicans blame Sens. Bennet, Hickenlooper for losing Bureau of Land Management headquarters to D.C. The fight to keep the Bureau of Land Management in Grand Junction was always bipartisan, but when it came down to the wire, Senators Bennet and Hickenlooper folded and failed to stand up for Colorado by using procedural tools to leverage the Biden regime to keep the main Bureau of Land Management headquarters, Director, and senior leadership in Grand Junction.
