Our NHS can't be taken "off the table" in any trade deal with Trump because it's already being privatised.

That's why yesterday, for the first time ever, MPs had a serious debate about ending privatisation in our NHS.

Together with YOU, with Keep Our NHS Public and with many brilliant NHS campaigns, we've been showing just how much people care about this issue.

Yesterday MPs had the opportunity to put an end to the racket.

To end Richard Branson suing the NHS.
To end private healthcare companies draining NHS budgets.
To end the threat from a trade deal with Trump - because if we ended privatisation, our NHS would not be open for business the way it is right now.

Battle lines were drawn. MPs took sides. They voted.

And they made the wrong decision. We’re sorry to tell you we haven’t won. YET.

But it was close. We lost 282 to 310.

The campaign is working. Things are shifting, with every single MP who signs the pledge to protect our NHS.

What was different about yesterday?

Labour strongly, clearly backed the idea of ENDING PRIVATISATION, in parliament. They led the discussion and Labour MPs voted for the amendment to the Queen's Speech. SNP, Plaid, some Independents and the Greens got behind them.

Now we need to get ALL parties on board with defending our NHS.
