John,
Our entire legislative agenda is on the line, right now.
Last night, House progressives successfully delayed the vote on the bipartisan infrastructure bill, demanding we first have a firm legislative framework on the full Build Back Better agenda.
Today, the House will again attempt to pass the infrastructure bill. We need to hold firm that there should be no vote on infrastructure without firm agreements on human infrastructure first. Can you rush a contribution right now to fight for our full human needs legislative agenda?

What’s at stake are priorities critical to the American people including expanded Child Tax Credit payments, ensuring the lowest income families receive the full benefit; closing the Medicaid coverage gap to bring health care to 2.2 million more low-income Americans; more child care; paid family and medical leave; investing in home- and community-based care services for the aging and people with disabilities; expanding Medicare to include dental, hearing, and vision; lowering prescription drug prices by allowing Medicare to negotiate with drug companies; investing in housing and nutrition programs; free pre-school and community college; climate change protections―this is the agenda that creates good jobs and truly builds our future!
We know we can afford each of these investments when the rich and corporations pay their fair share. And that’s extremely popular with the American people. In fact, a new poll out of West Virginia shows that 70% of West Virginians support the Build Back Better Act when it’s paid for through fairer taxes and rewarding work, not wealth.1
Thanks to you, we’ve directed nearly 400,000 letters to members of Congress, fighting for the full Build Back Better agenda, and demanding it be paid for by making the rich and corporations pay their fair share.
Can you rush a contribution today to demand progressives hold firm on opposing the infrastructure bill until a firm legislative framework has been agreed to on the Build Back Better agenda?

Together, we’re demanding Washington politicians listen to the American people, not the high-priced Pharma and Chamber of Commerce lobbyists.
Thank you for your activism and support.
