Ever since Donald Trump’s hand-picked candidate Glenn Youngkin entered the Virginia Governor’s race, he’s been able to outraise and outspend Terry thanks to his deep pockets.

In a race as tight as this one, that could spell disaster for Democrats.

I don’t need to remind you that not only have the polls shown that this race is a statistical tie -- not only is history against the Democrats in this one -- but everyone from top analysts at Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight to Virginia elections guru Larry Sabato agree that this will be the most competitive race of 2021.

The Cook Political Report even has this race as a TOSS-UP.

Republicans are desperate for a win after the shellacking we gave them in 2020, and the Virginia Governor’s race is their best chance to pick up a high profile victory.
