Dear John, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for supporting my work these past few months—and to share a quick statistic with you: The average grassroots donation to our campaign this past quarter was just $15.36. That may not seem like a lot, but it’s a testament to the strength of our movement and collective power. When we come together to raise our voices—to fight for the issues we care about or support the candidates whose values we share—we’re unstoppable. It’s easy to feel discouraged sometimes, or just overwhelmed at the challenges we face as a country. I understand.
