Last night, progressives in the House blocked a vote on the narrow, bipartisan infrastructure deal, which would have taken away our leverage in passing President Biden’s 10-year $3.5 trillion Build Back Better Act.
Together, in Washington, DC and across the country, we came together and showed the power of our movement. We will not allow a narrow set of corporate Democrats to dictate our people- and climate-centered agenda. We know that our agenda is extremely popular―especially when it’s 100% paid for by finally making the rich and corporations pay their fair share.
