Hello Friend,

Four years ago today, the Las Vegas valley was rocked by unspeakable
tragedy. As of today, the total lives lost stands at 60, with hundreds
more injured. Their voices and stories must never be forgotten.

Our hope is that people impacted by 1October find healing through
community support and activism. Many of the survivors have come together
in support of sensible gun violence prevention policy within their
community. The courage it takes to move forward is demonstrated in their
ability to turn their pain into initiative to prevent future mass
shootings.

Nevadans can be proud that we have passed legislation to address gun
violence. Through working with impacted people we have seen ghost guns
banned, background checks adopted and extreme risk protection orders
enacted. All of these measures are designed to limit gun violence.

Supporting victims of 1October is crucial to our mission of stopping the
impact of gun violence. None of the policy wins would have been possible
without survivors who have turned their trauma into action. We need to
hear from people who have been impacted by gun violence so we can continue
to push for solutions. Please reach out to

your voice can be heard.

There are also incredible resources from [ [link removed] ]Center For American Progress
that you can share to encourage our leaders to take action on gun violence
prevention policies. Advocating for these policies is one of the best
things you can do to encourage change.

Stay safe and stay strong on this solemn anniversary,
