I wanted to reach out to say how grateful I am for the thousands of people who have contributed to our campaign.
I know we asked a lot before yesterday's fundraising deadline. Please know that it is contributions from people like you that make this campaign possible.
Pretty soon, we're going to announce how much money we've raised as well as how many contributions our campaign has received.
I think the numbers we report will make you proud to be a part of this team.
This FEC fundraising deadline was a big test for our campaign. Because the truth is that one of the ways our opponents, our allies, and the media will assess our viability in this race is by looking at what we raised during the first fundraising quarter of this campaign.
What we are doing together is proving that when we reach out to people across Wisconsin and the country, we can build a historic coalition that is capable of defeating Ron Johnson once and for all.
And if we continue expanding our coalition, we are going to defend the Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate and expand opportunity to everyone in Wisconsin and nationwide.
So once again, I am extremely humbled and thankful for the support our campaign has received so far. We simply would not be where we are today without people like you.
