That’s why next week, we’re taking it up another notch to keep the pressure on President Biden, Vice President Harris, Senate Majority Leader Schumer, and House Speaker Pelosi. These leaders have a choice to make: will they keep the promises they made to protect our communities or will they leave millions at risk for deportation? As our elected officials return to their home districts for recess, we’re hosting our “No Recess Without Relief” Week of Action Oct. 11th-17th! Can you join us in hosting a local action in your city?
Host an Action
This Week of Action is your chance to bring our fight right to your Member of Congress’ doorstep and make your community’s voice heard! Folks are invited to set up an office visit meeting with their Senator or Representative, host a rally outside their office or anywhere in your town, or even create a virtual action to get your whole squad involved.
After signing up to host an action for our “No Recess Without Relief” Week of Action, you’ll get all the tools and resources you need to make your action a success. I really hope you’re able to join us and host an action Friend, we’re stronger when we take action together!
