Repeat this with me: Abortion is health care.
And yet, across the country, the Far Right is trying to claim victory in preventing access to this critical, life-saving health care. We won’t let them take our reproductive freedom away from us.
That’s why we need you to join the reproductive justice movement for a nationwide day of action tomorrow, Saturday October 2, to show the world just how widespread our movement is!
Abortion bans – like Texas’s now infamous S.B. 8 – disproportionately harm people of color, LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, low-income people, and people living in rural areas. It’s long past time we acknowledge these disparities and work to ensure that every person who needs abortion care can access it wherever they live.
Tomorrow’s marches aren’t just about protecting Roe v. Wade and urging the Senate to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act – it’s about asserting that the right to an abortion is a human right. We must ensure that this critical medical procedure is both affordable and available in all of our communities. Come out and help us remind the world that we are not free until ALL of us are free – and that includes reproductive freedom.
