Happy October

It was a busy week at the Indiana Statehouse and, as of this writing, the work is still going on as legislative leaders finalize the once-a-decade redistricting process. I’ve used this space the past couple of weeks to applaud the legislature for the process they undertook and had the opportunity to do so again with an op-ed in the Indianapolis Star. The link to the op-ed is below.

As we see what functional, conservative leadership is accomplishing for Hoosiers here at home, it is a stark contrast to what went on this week in Washington D.C. The week started off with Joe Biden, his handlers, Nancy Pelosi and a large chunk of the leftwing establishment and their national media allies telling us, with a straight face, that Joe Biden’s $3.5 trillion massive spending plan actually costs nothing! And why do they say it costs nothing? Because instead of borrowing money, they’re just going to raise your taxes to pay for everything. Democrats in Washington think your money is the government’s and that things only have a cost when the government needs to borrow. It’s a bold strategy. Also, let’s not kid ourselves, not only will they raise your taxes, on top of the rising costs of everything else, they’ll still borrow billions to for socialist spending. Thankfully, Republicans and a few responsible Democrats are holding the line against this monstrosity.

Thanks
Kyle

Governor Holcomb's Week That Was

Building One Indiana For All

Governor Holcomb joined Pacers Sports & Entertainment to celebrate the renaming of Gainbridge Fieldhouse. It might go by a new name, but Gainbridge Fieldhouse is still the home of the Pacers and Fever, right in the heart of basketball country.
