In recognition and celebration of our 45th anniversary year, City Limits is institutinga Hall of Fame. Our inaugural inductees are four extraordinary women who exemplify the diversity, ingenuity and grit of New Yorkers. These inductees not only have unparalelled careers, their contributions to New York City are extraordinary as well.
Our inaugural Hall of Fame inductees are:
Afua Atta-Mensah - Former Executive Director, Community Voices Heard; Jenna Flanagan - Host of MetroFocus, The WNET Group; Christine Quinn - President & CEO, Win, and; Kathryn Wylde - President & CEO, Partnership for New York City.
Previous City Limits' honorees: Wayne Barrett, Preet Bharara, Adam Blumenthal, Richard Buery, Angela Fernandez, Laura Flanders, Henry Garrido, Elizabeth Cooke-Levy, Gabe Pressman, Tom Robbins, and Sean Straub, will also be inducted into the City Limits' Hall of Fame.
City Limits is also launching two fellowships to honor remarkable men who have helped make City Limits an independently sustainable, award-winning, and investigative, news outlet:
The Jarrett Murphy Fellowship - honors our Former Executive Editor who led the editorial team for 14 years - in Climate and Health Reporting.
The Mark Edmiston Fellowship - honors our previous Board of Trustees Chair for 11 extraordinary years of service - in Media & Business Innovation.
These fellowships will support City Limits' ongoing investigative journalism and support business development.
Please join us in honoring the City Limits' Hall of Fame inductees and Fellowship recipients at the City Limits 45th Anniversary Celebration & Hall of Fame Induction on Thursday, November 18, 2021, 6:30-9:30 pm. at the Stanley Kaplan Penthouse at Lincoln Center. The event will also be live-streamed for in-home attendance with home-delivered meals and gifts. Tickets are $350 each, tax deductible, to attend or livestream this event.
