Team -- this is a longer email but I hope you’ll read the whole thing.

The four years with Trump as president were decidedly dark and seemingly hopeless.

But then, the American people stood up, rallied, and organized to put a good Democrat in the White House and secure Democratic majorities in both the House and the Senate.

Since then, I’ve been awestruck by how much we’ve been able to accomplish and move the needle on so many key progressive priorities -- COVID-19 aid, LGBTQ equality, environmental protections and so much more.

But friend, we can kiss this all goodbye if Democrats get complacent.

MAGA Republicans are out for vengeance to take back the House AND the Senate -- they’re even trying to turn California red! And if they succeed -- all our progress will go down the drain.

Our successes in 2020 are only meaningful if we can keep our progressive majorities in 2022. And that fight has already begun.

But what scares me the most is that our fundraising has come to a severe halt.

In fact, we've barely raised anything since this morning! But I know we can do this. We still need to raise $1,083 to reach our $10,000 End-of-Quarter goal. And there's just a few hours left.

So, friend, I’m humbly asking you to chip in $3 (or more if you can), to help us catch up with the GOP and protect our House majority. Let’s show them what we’re made of. Can I count on you? »
