Team, Ilhan and her fellow progressives are unapologetically fighting for bold, necessary change to support workers and families through the pandemic and build a better future that leaves no one behind.

Meanwhile, Joe Manchin refuses to support the Build Back Better Act as is, saying that if progressives want a bill that addresses the climate crisis for future generations, provides childcare for families, and expands healthcare, we should stop asking him — an elected Democrat — to carry out his own party’s agenda and “elect more liberals.”

Well, Joe Manchin is right about one thing — we do need more people-first leaders who actually deliver on voters’ mandate to pass transformative policies. Now is not the time for watered-down policies that please corporations and lobbyists. It’s time to meet the moment we’re in. That’s why our campaign is so focused on organizing to elect strong candidates up and down the ballot, even in the “off” year, to build progressive power.

But that kind of work takes a lot of resources, and we’re falling short of our end-of-quarter goal with just hours to go. It's crucial that we meet our goal to fuel our work, but we’re seeing a bigger gap than expected at this point.

Thankfully, we can still catch up. Will you chip in anything you can before midnight tonight to support our work for progress? Your contribution could be the reason we meet our goal!
