think it's important you know Cori's story because it directly impacts
what she's striving towards in Congress and what inspires her work.

There aren't many people in Congress who have lived the struggles that
Cori has. But there are millions of people in our communities who have.

Cori has been unhoused and relied on food stamps. She doesn't have
generational wealth to rely on. She’s worked low-wage jobs. She's wondered
where were the elected officials paid to represent her?

But it is precisely because of Cori's lived experience that she now
represents us in Congress. She was elected to Congress as a politivist to
represent everyday people, speak to the challenges our families face
today, and push for the change we desperately need.

We've seen we can move mountains through people power. From pushing the
Biden Administration to extend the eviction moratorium, to introducing
legislation around transforming public safety – we've made tremendous
progress already.

Together, we can finally pass the urgent policies our communities need,
but Cori can't do this without your help.
