With several special sessions now behind us, we have yet another in front of us. Initially, the Governor called the Legislature back in session on October 1st but after much deliberation, he issued a new proclamation stating October 4th as the start of the 4th special session. Next week, I'll join other legislators to address:
Yesterday, the Department of Revenue announced this year's PFD in the amount of $1,114. Alaskans who are determined eligible by October 7, 2021, filed electronically and chose direct deposit, will see funds deposited into their bank accounts the week of October 11th. All other applications and disbursement methods that have been determined by October 21st, including applicants receiving a paper check, will be distributed starting the week of October 25th.
