This might sound crazy, but tonight is the single most important fundraising deadline before the 2022 election.


I know the election is still over a year away, but tonight’s deadline is the last time everyone will see our fundraising numbers before filing to run for office in December, in a district that will be significantly changed by redistricting expected in October or November.


I’ve personally been helping Dan raise money these past few months, and let me assure you that we have never worked so hard to build up his campaign war chest. We sat down after the second quarter and set ambitious goals to raise $300,000 by September 30 and report $700,000 cash on hand. I’m proud to say we’re only $4,842 away from hitting both goals.


That’s why we’re emailing for the first time in a long time – we know if our supporters pitch in $100 or $50 or whatever they can before midnight, we can raise $4,842. If we hit our goal, it will send a big message to Democrats thinking about challenging Dan, and ultimately help Dan and other Republicans flip the House in November.
