Breaking news, John: Republican Senator Josh Hawley, an election denier who played a role in the January 6th insurrection, just endorsed our GOP opponent Sean Parnell.

Hawley and Parnell have a lot in common. Both denied President Joe Biden’s victory in the 2022 election, with Parnell leading the charge to invalidate legal ballots in Pennsylvania and Hawley using his platform in the U.S. Senate to dangerously object to Trump’s clear loss.

We all know what happened next: An attack on our Capitol building that, months later, we are still contending with.

This race is drawing clear battle lines between those who want to preserve our democracy, and those who are determined to destroy it.
