It’s not always easy being a member of Congress but it will always be the greatest privilege. Every time I cast a vote, write a bill, or talk with a constituent — I’m reminded of the magnitude of our work. Its importance.

I truly couldn’t be prouder to defend our country’s values and protect the foundation of our democracy. And it never ceases to inspire me that there are millions of Americans who share these values. Knowing that upholding our democracy and creating a better future for all is essential. And that we’ll all fighting for it.

Even when it feels like the GOP is launching a new attack every day, it’s impossible to even think about giving an inch when I know there are millions of you fighting for justice every day.

In the coming months, I’m going to need your help. In fact, I’m counting on your support before our FEC deadline in just a few hours — so we can finish the work we started in 2020. The 2022 midterm elections are going to be an all-out battle with the GOP, and we can’t let them win and undo all of our progress.
