Hey — it's Sol Sandoval.
I'm personally emailing you one final time before tonight's end-of-quarter fundraising deadline. We're just a few donations short of our critical Flip CO-3 Fund goal, so could you please consider sending a donation our way to help me defeat GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert?
You see, there are so many advantages to being a first-time candidate for Congress.
Here's a big pro: I get to take my firsthand experience as a working mom, a public school parent, a social worker-turned-organizer, and a daughter of Mexican immigrants on the road with me. And if we win this race to unseat our Republican opponent Lauren Boebert, we'll add a real voice for working families to Congress to amplify our struggles, disrupt the Washington status quo, and work tirelessly to finally serve OUR community.
But here's the challenge: Being a first time candidate for any political office — instead of a longtime career politician looking for her next move — means I don't have a long list of wealthy donors to call and ask for money. I don't have a big rolodex of corporate funders. And I certainly don't have the means to fund this campaign through generational wealth.
But I have something even more important. I've got you.
There is nothing more valuable to me, or to this campaign, than knowing you're in this fight alongside me. We may not have Republican super PACs on our side or a big network of corporate political elites to cut us big checks — but we've got grit, determination, and an unbreakable fighting spirit. And together, we will win.
Our campaign team did the math, and if just 1 in every 6 people reading this message right now chipped in, we'd hit our goal in a heartbeat. In fact, we'd hit it with time to spare. So I have to ask just one more time before midnight:
Thank you so much. ¡Adelante!
Sol
