The Democratic House majority is barely a majority – take a look:

While 2020 won the Democrats the White House, we did not fare so well with our House races. The GOP picked up seats and made gains – and they are not taking their feet off the gas. With redistricting guaranteeing an Republican pick-up of at least two seats if not more, Jahana’s frontline race here in CT-05 is one that will make or break the Democrats’ majority in 2022 and beyond.

So as we approach tonight's end-of-quarter fundraising deadline, we have to show up strong – the same way we did in 2018. We have to declare that we will not yield this seat and we have to do so now. Tell the deep pockets not to waste their money here this year.

It’s been a busy and challenging few months – but through it all Jahana has been fighting for us. And because of our majorities, Democrats were able to get people back to work due to the American Rescue Plan, secure our right to vote, protect workers right to organize, reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act, codify the Equal Rights Amendment, end anti-LGBTQ+ discrimination, support DACA recipients, and much more.

Just last week, the House passed the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would guarantee a person's right to reproductive autonomy. None of this would be possible without our majority.
