Friend, our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline is just a few hours away.

Here’s why that matters to you, and to all of us:

There’s no sugarcoating what’s happening in Texas, friend. SB 1 is one of the worst voter suppression bills since the Jim Crow era, and Governor Greg Abbott and the GOP are making progress in their mission to rig the system against us.

But now we have the political strategy to beat them. Ground Game Texas is putting popular issues — think workers, wages, and weed — on local ballots in dozens of cities and towns, and using them we can engage (and register) new voters. We’ve already reached tens of thousands in Austin.

Think about the math here, friend. If we expand our work statewide, we’ll unlock a massive, election-winning wave of progressive turnout in 2022.

If we’re going to turn out as many new Texan voters as we can by next Election Day, it’s critical we raise enough resources before midnight’s deadline — and we’re still hundreds of donations short. So we’re personally asking you, friend: can you make your first contribution of $5 now so we’re able to reach our end-of-quarter fundraising goal? [[link removed]]

Every voter we reach through Ground Game Texas is because of people like YOU, donating anything they can, whenever they can. Every dollar and cent you can give today is powering a transformative movement.

Thank you for being in this fight,
