Here's what you can expect as a new member of our community

Hi John, Thank you for joining the IRC community and standing up for refugees. We're so glad to have you with us — and the more than one million other people who have also decided to stand up for refugees. Our teams help refugees and displaced people across 40 countries and in 25 cities right here in the US.We respond to the world's toughest humanitarian challenges, from the ongoing war in Syria to the hunger crises in Yemen and East Africa. When an emergency strikes, the IRC is one of the first organizations to arrive. Our teams provide clean water, shelter, medical care, food assistance and other critical aid to refugees. We then commit to staying for as long as we’re needed, supporting families as they rebuild their lives.

Over the next couple of weeks, you'll be hearing more about who we are and how to get more involved. After that you can expect to receive regular up-to-date information about our work, including:

A monthly newsletter highlighting refugees' personal stories     Information on crises and our response from our teams on the ground     Opportunities to get more involved both locally and globally

In the meantime, feel free to familiarize yourself with our website and make sure we have your most updated information so we can contact you correctly.
