We're coming up on our next FEC end-of-quarter filing deadline tonight at midnight. Let me take a moment to explain why this deadline is critical to the success of our campaign.

Tonight's end-of-quarter FEC deadline is our first of the election cycle with opponents in the race, and all eyes will be on our fundraising numbers.

We just learned the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is targeting our campaign with new ads in my district. That's on top of the additional $400,000 in dark money ads a right-wing group dropped last week.

After midnight tonight we're closing the books, and our fundraising numbers will be public soon after. Our opponents, National Republicans, and dark money groups will be waiting to see how much we've raised. And if they see our numbers slipping, they could put even more money toward ads targeting me.

Thanks to everyone who has already given so far this week. We're on our way to hitting our ambitious goal, but we're still coming up short. As of right now, we're just $1,455 away from hitting our end-of-quarter goal.
