Friend, I’m reaching out to ask: Can you please split a donation between our organizing and Rep. Lucy McBath’s reelection campaign before tonight's end-of-quarter deadline at midnight?

Here’s why this request is so important:

I got to know Lucy on the campaign trail in 2018, where we were both running to be the first women to hold the offices we were seeking.

She is caring, brilliant, and tenacious -- and I was thrilled when she won her first race in a shocking upset.

Then, in 2020, despite a pandemic and millions of dollars in nasty GOP ads, she won again!

Since they couldn’t win fair and square, Republicans are now trying to tilt the playing field against Lucy by redrawing her district to include more “red” areas. It’s gerrymandering -- and plain old corruption -- at its worst.

I know Lucy, and she is exactly who we need in Congress fighting for our families. I also know that if we step up and support her campaign, she’ll be able to shock the nation and win yet again! Please, if you’re able, can you split $20.22 or any amount between Lucy McBath and Our American Dreams today?

I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important.

No matter what the districts end up looking like, we need to make sure Lucy has the support she needs to win big and keep fighting for gun violence prevention, affordable health care, climate action, and voting rights in Congress -- and we need to support game-changing down-ballot candidates through Our American Dreams to elect a pro-democracy legislature here in Georgia.
