This Sunday's July Picnic Is Cancelled Due To Adverse Weather

Due to the extreme heatwave that is predicted for the Washington DC area this weekend, the Steering Committee has decided to cancel and reschedule this Sunday's Metro DC DSA Picnic. Temperatures on Sunday are predicted to be a high of 98 degrees, and when combined with humidity feel like 113 degrees. The Committee is always looking out for the safety and health of our members at our events and has determined that hosting the picnic in these conditions could put members' health at risk.

The Steering Committee plans to reschedule the picnic for a different date and will let chapter members know when the new date is finalized.
