John, today is a big day in Congress.
Our lawmakers are faced with two choices:
1. Pass President Biden’s agenda by voting to pass the Build Back Better Act alongside infrastructure.
2. Leave behind all the priorities that progressives like Jamaal have been fighting for in favor of a woefully inadequate bipartisan infrastructure bill.
Jamaal has made it abundantly clear: he will vote down the bipartisan infrastructure bill unless the reconciliation package advances first. Jamaal understand better than any lawmaker that members of Congress were sent to Washington to deliver for the people — not to entertain the interests of the corporate establishment.
John, it’s never been more important to remind the world that our movement and lawmakers like Jamaal are here to stay and fight for people who have been left behind. We’re holding the line, and we’re not backing down.
If you’re with us, please donate $5 or whatever you’re able toward our FEC end-of-quarter goal before TONIGHT at MIDNIGHT. Your contribution will not only help us reach our goal, but it will power our agenda forward, publicly demonstrate the strength of our movement, and keep Jamaal in Congress. Please chip in now:

As Jamaal has said many times, John, infrastructure goes beyond roads and bridges. Care work is infrastructure. Green energy is infrastructure. Health care is infrastructure. Violence prevention is infrastructure.
But right now, without the reconciliation package, the bipartisan infrastructure bill addresses none of these things. This is unacceptable. We simply can’t afford NOT to address the multitude of crises we face.
Jamaal understands how important it is to invest in our communities, our planet, and our economy — now, and without compromise.
If you agree and want to support our movement as we continue to push for reconciliation, John, please chip in $5 to our campaign to show the strength of this movement, and that we’re not going anywhere.
In solidarity,
