Stay Informed Thursday, September 30, 2021 AZ Senate Report Spurs Action and More Audits Nationwide On Friday, September 24th, the Arizona Audit team presented their report to the State Senate. The eyes of the country, and the world, were all on Arizona. Throughout the course of the hearing held by the State Senate, it was clear that the audit was an honest exercise from the start – unlike what the media and the detractors were saying. Arizona has paved the way for other states who, like us, believe that every legal vote should count. Senate President Fann has sent the report along with a letter to the Attorney General, asking him to take all appropriate action. I hope he does so swiftly. Without the relentless efforts of the grassroots of the Republican Party of Arizona, the audit would have never happened. Now, other states and counties are following our lead as they consider their own audits. We must be tireless in our efforts to restore the public’s confidence in voting by ensuring we have free and fair elections! Always America First! Dr. Kelli Ward Chairwoman Republican Party of Arizona Dr. Ward Shares Leadership Tips with Other Republican Leaders Leading the organization that the Republican National Committee has identified as the ‘Most Engaged State Party’ requires a lot of political experience, skill and energy. During her years as RPAZ Chairwoman Dr. Kelli Ward has demonstrated these leadership qualities and, consequently, has been invited to meet with leaders of other state parties and organizations to present some of the successful strategies and programs she has implemented. A pictorial review of Chairwoman Ward’s more recent engagements follows. Speaking with the Lane County, Oregon, GOP With State Treasurer Kimberly Yee Former Oregon GOP Chairman Bill Currier & Oregon RNC National Committeeman US Senate Candidate Jim Lamon hosts a great event with police and border patrol AZFRW Day at the Capitol Speaking at the Linn County, Oregon, GOP Gala AZFRW takes the AZ House Floor Prayer Breakfast Police & Firefighter Prayer Breakfast with fellow Republicans: Anthony Kern, Alex Kolodin, Yvonne Cahill, Joseph Chaplik, Matt Salmon Source: Border Patrol The Numbers Behind Biden's Bungled Border Policies August border numbers continue to bode badly for the Biden administration while underscoring Biden-Harris’ failed leadership, according to an analysis provided by the Republican National Committee. More than 208,000 illegal immigrants – the highest number since 2020 -- were apprehended attempting to cross the southern border during August. That’s a 317 percent increase over August 2020. More than 1.2 million illegals have been caught since January 20, 2021 attempting to enter the US. This is a higher total than any year since 2001. More than 112,000 children have been encountered since February 2021 and the Biden administration has lost contact with a third of the migrant children released between January and May of this year. More than 18 percent of the migrant families, plus 20 percent of unaccompanied minors, have tested positive for COVID. A Texas county reported a 107 percent increase in COVID infections in one week among unaccompanied minors. The Biden push for a vaccine mandate for American citizens excludes mandatory vaccines for illegals. While statistics are not readily available, incidents of crime and deadly drugs are flowing over the border. Border Patrol officers in the El Paso sector report that the number of attacks against its agents have nearly doubled this year. While Democrat and Republican local officials pleaded for help, Biden and “Border Czar” Kamala Harris publicly pretend the crisis doesn’t exist. Treasurer Yee, 22 State Finance Officials Oppose Biden’s Disclosure Proposal Arizona Treasurer Kimberly Yee and 22 State Financial Affairs Foundation members signed a letter to President Biden and US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen opposing the Biden Administration’s proposal that would require banks and credit unions to turn over the account information of private citizens’ and small businesses to the Internal Revenue Service on accounts exceeding $600. The state financial officers described the intrusive proposal as “…one of the largest infringements of data privacy in our nation’s history and is a direct assault on the financial disclosures of all Americans.” The finance officials cite possible negative consequences and oversights that could evolve from the proposal including the loss of Americans’ trust in banking institutions, resulting in an increasing number of unbanked Americans. The proposed regulation is intended to aid the IRS in collecting taxes from tax evaders. The signers of the letter point out that there is no evidence that the proposal will aid this goal.
