What’s next for NextGen

Join us for the People's Day of Action

Friend,

Today, I’m excited to announce that NextGen America is officially launching the largest youth voter-mobilization program in America for the 2022 election cycle.

Across Texas, Arizona, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, and beyond, we aim to register over 288,000 voters between the ages of 18 and 35 and reach out to over 9 million young people.

We are as excited as we are confident that we will meet this moment and mobilize young voters from every corner of this country. But we can’t do it without your help.

Here’s our first ask of the cycle: Will you pledge to vote in your upcoming state election?

We’re kicking off our new program this weekend in Texas, but we’re only getting started. NextGen will hold additional launch events in Arizona, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania in October and November.

Throughout September and October, NextGen is sending voter-registration mail to nearly 100,000 young voters and texting and calling 1.4 million more. From February through August of this year, NextGen contacted more than 1.5 million young people.

Now that you’re in the loop, we’re going full speed ahead.

In this coming election, so much will be on the line: confronting climate change, saving our democracy, tackling grotesque income inequality — and that’s just the beginning of the list. We know young people have the power to deliver a resounding message to the politicians trying to take our country backwards — if they want to cling to the past they can have it, but the future belongs to us.

Our journey starts with your pledge to vote.

Pledge to vote now

Thank you,

Cristina Tzintzún Ramirez
