We need members of Congress who will work to make our lives better. Someone who will fight for the interests of working families and not govern on behalf of private prisons, Exxon, Chevron, or the ultra-conservative Koch brothers.

Jessica Cisneros is running in Texas’ 28th District to replace one of the most conservative Democrats in Congress — and the Working Families Party is proud to have her back.

Last year, Jessica lost to Henry Cuellar by less than 2,800 votes, and we know she can make up the difference in 2022 and win a seat representing working families in Congress. Now, Congressman Cuellar is trying to hold the Build Back Better Act and the rest of Biden’s agenda hostage.

Defeating Congressman Cuellar won’t be easy. Jessica was outspent by about $700,000 last year, and Cuellar hasn’t stopped taking big checks from oil and gas, private prisons, and Republican donors.
