It's almost convention time...are you registered?

We Are the Change is coming in just a few weeks--are you registered yet? There's no time like the present. Our virtual convention will offer great learning sessions, inspiring plenaries, awards for chapters doing incredible PFLAG work and, of course, lots of opportunities to meet and connect with PFLAG members and supporters from across the country. Best of all? At $25, this is our most affordable convention yet.

Visit pflag.org/wearethechange to check out the agenda and register. We can't wait to see you!

More on what we're fighting for; where, when, and how we're fighting for it; and with whom we're partnering to achieve justice and equality for our LGBTQ+ loved ones

Join PFLAG National's #Fight4Equality and make a difference by contacting your senators each week. Equality enhances our freedom which is why we need the Equality Act, now. Invite your friends and family to take action, too at pflag.org/Fight4Equality.

Are you registered to vote? Earlier this week, we were proud to partner on National Voter Registration Day. That day might have passed, but it's still not too late to ensure that you're registered to vote, or make changes to your voter registration. Visit our friends at vote.org and make sure you can take part in the election process!

We've got great support for LGBTQ+ teens via our Q Chat Space program, created in partnership with our friends at CenterLink and Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Learn about upcoming groups at qchatspace.org!

Access our Straight for Equality online learning opportunities; workplace, faith, and trans inclusion resources, and highlights from our weekly broadcast, Something to Talk About Live.

PFLAG National is proud to partner on CURED, a new PBS documentary that highlights a pivotal but little-known moment in LGBTQ+ history when activists rose up to challenge a formidable institution — and won! CURED takes viewers inside the David-versus-Goliath battle that led the American Psychiatric Association to remove homosexuality from its manual of mental illnesses in 1973, and will be broadcast nationally on the acclaimed PBS series Independent Lens (check local listings) on National Coming Out Day, October 11th.

Visit pbs.org/cured to learn more!
