I’m sure you’re getting a lot of emails right now asking for money – and I’m about to do the same thing, but I’ve got a really good pitch.

State parties work a little differently than candidates or PACs. We’re active year-round and lay the groundwork so candidates can come in and deliver that knockout punch to defeat their Republican opponents. We hire organizers, set up field offices, and fundraise like hell so that Iowa Democrats have a solid foundation to build on.
