This one is important, because November is shaping up to be another big month for Cory Gardner in terms of the high-dollar donations that are keeping his campaign afloat. Here's why:

Earlier this month, Gardner jetted off to a fundraising retreat to help Donald Trump bring in a bundle of big checks for his re-election campaign. And now we know that, in just a few weeks, the president is returning the favor.

Trump is hosting a three-day "Save the Senate" fundraiser at his hotel in D.C. for a small group of Republican Senators--and we all know Cory Gardner is at the top of that list. The other side sees this as an opportunity for Gardner to widen the fundraising gap between our campaign and his.

In the first weeks of this campaign, we showed the world that we can keep up, team. And we absolutely cannot fall behind now. This won't be the last time Cory Gardner leans on his special interest allies in Washington for support. They know their best hope of holding on to this Senate seat is with a boatload of special interest cash.
