Seattle Times: "Fight looms over 2022 midterms as Democrats and Republicans propose dueling Washington congressional maps"

Did you hear the news, John? The first draft Congressional District maps in Washington State were released on Tuesday.

We don't know yet how our district is going to change, but we do know that new maps mean new voters that we have to reach next year -- and Cook Political Report named Kim the most at-risk Washington incumbent going into the redistricting process.

Rush a donation of $5 or more before our end-of-quarter deadline at midnight tonight to help ensure we have the resources to reach new voters >>

Team,

The redistricting process is in full swing here in Washington State, as the first draft Congressional District maps were released today. While we don't know exactly what the final map will look like yet, one thing is clear: we're going to have new voters to reach with Kim's message.

We always knew we had a tough fight ahead of us to protect this seat. Kim was the first Democrat ever elected to serve the district and national Republicans named her a top target. With new maps on the horizon and new voters to reach, we have an even tougher road ahead of us.

No matter how our district changes, we need to start preparing right now to be ready to reach as many new voters as possible once the maps are finalized.

Will you chip in $5 or more right away to help us reach our FEC end-of-quarter goal before Thursday's deadline? Your support will help us reach Kim's new constituents and ensure we keep Washington's 8th District blue.

With the draft maps released, all eyes are going to be on our district. Cook Political Report named Kim the most at-risk Washington incumbent going into the redistricting process, meaning our district is on track to remain one of the most competitive in the country. We know national Republicans will waste no time doubling-down on their efforts to flip Kim's seat and retake the House majority.

With two Trump-supporting opponents in the race and dark money attacks already starting, we can't afford to take anything for granted in this race. We need your support right away to help us hit our FEC end-of-quarter goal to be ready to reach new voters once the maps are finalized.

Rush a donation before our end-of-quarter deadline on Thursday at midnight to ensure we have the resources to reach new voters, protect Kim's seat and our Democratic House majority.

National Republicans have named Rep. Kim Schrier's district a top target for the midterms, so we need your help to build another winning campaign. Will you chip in to protect Kim's seat and the Democratic House majority in 2022?
