Did you see Bob’s message yesterday? The Republican Attorneys General Association reports raising more than $5 million dollars in the last three months alone. They use that money to attack Democratic Attorneys General like Bob, who are on the front lines of the fight to dismantle the many unlawful policies Donald Trump put in place.

This is important — please read the full message and contribute to be one of the 76 supporters Bob still needs to stay on track with his September end-of-month fundraising goal.

The deadline is still midnight tonight!

Begin forwarded message from Bob Ferguson on 9/29/2021:

I’ve written to you before about the Republican Attorney Generals Association (RAGA) and their efforts to target Attorneys General like me.

They’re furious that I helped reverse dozens of outrageous and unlawful policies enacted by the Trump Administration.

They also know that I will not hesitate to challenge — and defeat — the biggest, most powerful corporations and special interest groups when they break the rules.

RAGA easily raises tens of millions of dollars from the conservative, dark-money groups peddling voter suppression laws and right-wing judicial nominees. These groups want me out of office — which is why I need your help.

Tomorrow is my end-of-month fundraising deadline and I still need another 113 supporters to contribute before midnight. Can you make a donation now?

I don’t accept contributions from large corporations and I don’t have millions of dollars to self-fund my campaign. Instead, I rely on the support of thousands of grassroots donors like you, who believe in the work I am doing as the People’s Lawyer.

No matter what RAGA does next, I will continue to fight President Trump’s legacy in court and hold powerful interests accountable when they break the rules.

You can count on that.

Thank you,
Bob

Our September end-of-month deadline is right around the corner and we need your help to meet our ambitious goal of 750 contributions this month.

September is almost over, but the work we started this month is far from finished.

My legal team continues to demand accountability from the Sackler family for their part in fueling the opioid epidemic here in Washington. I rejected and am appealing the morally and legally bankrupt deal that gives the owners of Purdue Pharma a lifetime legal shield. I’m committed to seeing this fight through — all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary.

We also successfully returned hundreds of thousands of dollars to Washingtonians victimized by predatory debt collectors using deceptive tactics to collect on “zombie” debt, including student loan debt.

When I learned the Biden administration planned to continue a Trump-era appeal against protections for Hanford workers here in Washington, I immediately spoke out and renewed my commitment to protecting workers’ safety.

I filed an amicus brief in Georgia, fighting back against continued Republican efforts to undermine Americans' right to vote — particularly voters of color.

I also partnered with 23 other state Attorneys General to stop Texas’ outrageous legislation placing a bounty on anyone who seeks or assists with an abortion after 6 weeks of pregnancy.

As long as I’m the People’s Lawyer, I will uphold the rule of law and hold powerful interests accountable — but my work this month is sure to generate backlash from right-wing extremists.

I refuse contributions from large corporations. Because of mandatory fundraising freezes, I can only raise money approximately half of the year.

That’s why I’m asking you to pitch in $20 before midnight on Thursday so we meet our goal of 750 supporters before the end-of-month deadline.
