Announcing Fall Virtual Events!

We're excited to announce our Fall 2021 Virtual Events! Don't miss these opportunities to expand your knowledge of population issues and network with other members and Population Connection staff.

The first event of this series takes place today! Professor Elizabeth Esekong Andrew-Essien of University of Calabar, Nigeria, will delve into how population affects ecosystems and how new approaches can ensure a more sustainable future. Later this fall, we'll celebrate Indigenous People's Day by hosting Professor Kyle Whyte from the University of Michigan for a discussion on indigenous peoples and climate justice. And lastly, we'll host the final "Page Turners" book club meeting of 2021! Members and staff will read The New Climate War: The Fight to Take Back Our Planet by Michael E. Mann.
