BREAKING via THE WASHINGTON POST:
SUPREME COURT TO HEAR MAJOR GUN SAFETY CASE BACKED BY NRA
This is EXACTLY what the NRA has been waiting for — and it comes at the worst moment for us. We need to fight back with all the strength we possibly can, but right now, we're short of our end-of-quarter fundraising goal. This is MAKE-OR-BREAK for our fight to defeat the NRA and save lives, so please, rush an end-of-quarter gift right now!

John, this is URGENT: At the same time that we've seen a devastating increase in mass shootings — and in firearm sales — a new Supreme Court case could put all our efforts to save lives from gun violence in jeopardy.
For the first time in more than a decade, the Supreme Court is considering whether to strike down restrictions on concealed-carry permits — dramatically increasing the number of people who could be carrying hidden weapons in public.
Experts are going as far as saying that this case could "make the NRA's dreams come true" — and increase the number of people carrying concealed weapons. John, this could not be more serious.
We need to fight back NOW and make it clear that the majority of Americans support bipartisan, common-sense gun safety laws that save lives. That's exactly what Brady fights for every day. But we can only win if we have the resources to fight, and right now, we're $8,932 short of our goal with less than 24 hours to go before our end-of-quarter deadline.
This isn't about one law, one policy, or even one Supreme Court case. This is about saving real people's lives — people like our loved ones who have been killed by gun violence. Before this deadline, we're counting on your help to power the work of saving them. So please, whatever you can spare, donate it now to hit our crucial end-of-quarter goal and prevent gun violence!
