In just a moment, I am going to ask you to make a contribution to my re-election campaign. Please give me a chance to explain why this request — especially today — is so important.

We have an important FEC fundraising deadline this month that ends at midnight tonight, and when it’s over we’re legally required to report how much money we’ve raised from July to today.

Deadlines like this can really jumpstart your campaign and give you that early edge that you need to beat back attacks in 2022. You know the old saying, “Early Money is Like Yeast”, well that’s true!

But right now, we still have a little work to do to get to our $15,000 goal. So, we need to pick up the pace or we risk falling behind. And the stakes of this race are too high to let that happen.

So I have to respectfully ask:

If you are able, will you make a $10 donation to our campaign? It’s going to take a lot of people chipping in a few bucks at a time to help reach our September FEC goal and keep House Democrats in the majority.
