D2N2 Progress map
*Nottingham named as UK city with most council installed charge points outside of London*

Were proud of the work weve done to bring charge points to the public, and were happy its showing. We have the most council installed charge points [ [link removed] ] in the UK outside of London. Along with this, were also in the top five for charge points per 1000 people.

Were not done yet, weve still got plenty of charge points coming [ [link removed] ] your way in the near future.

Enterprise Car Club [ [link removed] ] offers the Nottingham community a travel solution which gives access to an expansive network of 1,400+ vehicles across Nottingham and the UK. Boots electric van
*Boots electrifying the future*

Boots is moving into the electric world. As part of Boots journey to improve its sustainability, five new electric vans have joined their fleet with help from our Workplace Travel Service. Saving 22 tonnes of CO2 per year, these vans will be used to deliver prescriptions throughout Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

These are the first electric vans Boots has been operating, and Boots is exploring opportunities to introduce EVs in other locations following a successful trial of these vans to further reduce their carbon footprint. Yet another company paving the way for others to follow into our electric future.

Eddie Storr, Head of Supply Chain Pharmacy, Boots UK said: Running over 9,500 routes a week with a van fleet of 900, we are continually looking at ways to improve both the efficiency of our service and its environmental impact. Over the last six months, we have achieved significant mileage reductions through better route planning and the next step on our journey is to reduce our carbon footprint by introducing zero emission delivery vehicles. Following the launch in Nottingham, we are looking at other locations around the country to expand our electric fleet.

ULEV test drive
*Sustainable travel comes to HMRC*

With our Workplace Travel Service [ [link removed] ], HMRC were treated to multiple sustainable workplace travel stalls to promote active travel for a day. Providing opportunities to learn about the different sustainable options for travelling to work, including cycling, e-cycling and electric vehicles. Along with these stalls was also the opportunity to test drive an ULEV.

Many people say that once theyve driven an ULEV all of their apprehensions go away as they realise the beauty of the drive and how far range anxiety has been eliminated through public charge point networks. This was also an opportunity to ask experts from Cenex and DriveElectric any questions they had about ULEV transport, encouraging more drivers to make the switch with a better understanding of EVs in the future.
