Things are heating up on Capitol Hill, and it looks like we could have a vote on the way-too-small infrastructure bill (BIF) as early as today. With possibly just a few hours left until the House vote, it is URGENT that you call your Member of Congress today, and demand they stop BIF until the House passes an inclusive recovery bill.

As a reminder BIF isn’t bad, it’s just too small to meet the moment, which is why it needs to be paired with the full Build Back Better reconciliation package. Conservatives have shown time and time again they can’t be trusted to keep their word once they’ve gotten what they want, so today, to make sure the keep their words, the CPC will vote down a bill progressives support, in order to ensure we eventually get a package big enough to help everyone. 

This isn’t a minority position -- 96% of House and Senate Democrats support the Build Back Better package! We can’t allow a tiny minority of conservatives to deny Americans this massively important recovery plan.

The CPC is prepared to fight (and can win!), but we need to put pressure on the members who are obstructing Biden’s Recovery Agenda, and to cheer on our champions: Click here to call your Member of Congress today, and demand they vote down BIF until the House moves the reconciliation package forward.

With so much happening in Congress right now, it is crucial that we have all hands on deck. Congress must deliver on Biden’s recovery agenda. This is an essential, must-pass bill that will help pretty much everybody in the entire country. We have to do everything we can to get it passed.
